Kala Sangam School of Music, Dance and Art is among the few schools in Delhi that offer a variety of performing art forms under one roof. Not many schools of performing arts have stood the test of time for more than two decades by ensuring quality, commitment, and dedication. Kala Sangam, located in East Delhi, is affiliated with Prayag, Allahabad, and conducts exams for other schools in East Delhi as well.

A Successful Journey of more than two decades

Kala Sangam is a unit of Kala Sangam Performing Arts Pvt. Ltd. affiliated to Prayag, Allahabad and offers Grade Certifications from Trinity and Rock School London for Western instruments.
Kala Sangam embarked on its journey in the year 2002 under the strong leadership, guidance and vision of Madhumita Dasgupta, a Child Psychologist by qualification with a passion for music, dance and art.
Today, after more than two decades, the school has come a long way through sheer dedication and hard work of its Founder Director and her team of 20 teachers some of whom have been associated with the school for more than a decade.
Kala Sangam started with Classical dance forms, Bharatanatyam and Kathak, and now also offers Hindustani Classical Music, Hindustani Light Music (with Harmonium), Bollywood/Freestyle dance, Hip-hop, Drawing & Painting, Guitar, Piano/Keyboard (Casio) and Drums.
Kala Sangam has Annual Day Functions in one of the largest private auditoriums in a prime locality in which all children participate. Students also perform in various other shows that give students the much needed experience and confidence to perform on stage.
Kala Sangam is proud to continue its tradition of nurturing talent so much so the school has second generation children whose parents were students once upon a time. Some students who started as a child 10 years ago have completed 8th year and become teachers in Kala Sangam.
Kala Sangam inculcates the values and discipline of the 'Guru-Shishya Parampara' that ensures a well rounded personality which is important in achieving success in life.
